    I sooooooooo need this book!

My 5 year old son keeps asking me why I am mad all of the time and my 2 year old daughter just started saying “mommy mean!”

    :-(

  4. Kimberly Walton says:

I really need this book. It seems the older they get, the worse I get. How am I supposed to teach them a proper way to deal with their anger if I don’t have control of mine? Thanks so much.

  5. Unfortunately when you have unresolved anger issues, they pass on to your children and even your husband. Our whole family is ready for Christ’s infinite light to shine into our lives and let devine love heal.

  11. Jenna M. says:

I listened to her on the radio…and at the time it hit me like a surgeon’s scalpel to my heart! So I sat down with both of my older children individually and asked for forgiveness. Promised them that I would not loose my temper and say things I regret later. I knew I was taking a HUGE risk by doing this! I want to set a good example, and making promises I don’t intend on keeping does not go inline with this!

At the time I thought that is all I needed to do, and just work on keeping my promise. But now I see there is a need to read this book, and go along with a community of women who are struggling with the same thing!

Even my husband mentioned this may be a good read! And if you knew my sweet, kind, loving, patient, giving husband you would realize this is a HUGE statement from him. He doesn’t recomend me read much of anything unless there really is a need!

This is a need that God has brought to my attention….in a very obvious way!
    Thanks for doing this!

    • Jenna, I did something similar with my kids, asking them to keep me accountable to using kind words. Do they ever! So glad you’ll be joining us for the read-along!

  20. I feel God led me to your blog yesterday. Winning the book would be lovely, but just even having a source for daily encouragement is something I’m very much looking forward to. 22. I didn’t respond to everyone because I didn’t want to mess up the giveaway results, but I am so thankful for each one of you! Your hearts for your children are tender and I can see how much you love them. Jesus, please guide us mothers to be sweet mirrors of You to our children!

  23. I AM A YELLER! Im ashamed to admit all to often my anger gets the better of me! I get frustrated with my boys and I yell. I so could use something to help me change how I react to things. So would love to win one of these books

  24. In mid February, 88 percent of the Great Lakes was covered with ice, the greatest ice coverage the lakes have seen since the mid 1990s, slowing shipping on the lakes to a crawl. While the ice shrank because of last week brief warmup, as of Wednesday, the ice coverage was once again growing could keep on expanding.
